Don’t Stop Questioning

Curiosity is a marvelous thing; it has enabled us to discover all that we have discovered till now and makes all the inventions that facilitate us in our daily life. It has also enabled us to not only conquer space, but also to set foot on other planets.

Curiosity is the result of thinking, and not just any kind of thinking, but something we call critical thinking. When we are trying to find the solution to a problem or dig deeper for more facts that can help us make our decisions, then critical thinking comes in handy. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to achieve anything. But critical thinking is a lot more about thinking better than thinking about a problem all the time. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that it is actually thinking smarter, not harder.

If a critical thinking example hasn’t helped you much, then you don’t need to worry. It is a skill that is developed overtime and requires a lot of effort. But a long time and effort is not enough, you also need to follow a few simple steps that can help you achieve that. If you are interested in finding more about those points, then just read on.

Don’t stop questioning

Questioning is the first step if you want to find the answer to a question. But more important than questioning is asking the right questions. That means that you need to ask the questions which will give you the best and most accurate answers. This is also a habit that you will have to develop. When you want to research a topic, write as many questions as you can. Then choose the question which will give the best answer.

Read

Reading is the best way of expanding one’s knowledge and horizons. The more you read, the more you will know and the more you know the better you will be equipped to ask the right questions. So you should read as many things as you can that interest you.

Practice

You need to develop your thinking skills and for that, you need to exercise your brain. To achieve that, you need to solve at least one problem every day that will help you think. Set aside at least half an hour each day to do this.

Be persistent

If you don’t achieve results at once, then you shouldn’t give up. Persistency is something that will take you all the way to your desired goal.
